Facilities are available for students to learn various forms of arts and crafts e.g. painting, drawing, batik, tie and dye, stain glass, knitting, embroidery as well as ceramics, pottery, clay modelling, doll making, carpentry, electrical training, etc. Indian cultural heritage will be imbibed in the students from the earliest stages. Rooms for dance and music vocal and instrumental, both Indian and Western will be provided. Students will also have the choice of learning other performing arts like public speaking, debating, dramatics and western dance. The School will have a well-coordinated Orchestra comprising students of all ages, which will provide lively and melodious music during all School functions and will also participate in inter and intra school competitions. PLAY-FIELD of about 1.5 bighas is provided for Soccer, Basketball, Volleyball, Handball, Badminton, Cricket net, Golf net and putting area and GROUND FLOOR of the school building provides area to carry out co-curricular activities such as yoga, dance, art and craft etc. Inter-house and Inter-school sports events will be organized and encouraged which will help in developing a feeling of team spirit and fellow-feeling and will also provide a platform for interaction and inter-mingling with other schools. For small children, there is a separate playground with slides, swings, ladders and other park equipment. The school will regularly organize inter school and intra school competitions and events such as extempore speech, quizzes, elocution, sports matches, drama, music, creative arts, festivals to bring out and develop skills and talents in the students. The interaction with the fellow students and students of the other schools will teach them team spirit, fellowship and exchange of ideas and thoughts. |
